d*s mini trends! [bright white]
i'm noticing a real trend starting to emerge- one that's a reaction to the highly decorative, overly adorned objects we've been seeing a lot of over the past few years. both in color and form a growing number of designers seem to be creating with simplicity in mind. this week i chose to focus on a color trend in this vein that i've been seeing a lot of- bright white. clean, simple and basic, bright white allows form to shine through and silhouettes to be highlighted. in a design world full of bright colors and lots of surface pattern, i think some designers have decided to choose simple bright white for it's ability to let the shape of an object shine, rather than patterns or bold colors.
